Fateborne Nightwing

Fateborne Nightwing are curiously quiet birds that, in legends, owe their flightlessness to a sacrifice made by the eldest among them to save the Py’rai peoples of old. While increasingly rare, their enormity saw them used as mounts in ancient times, though texts recovered from ages old treat their roles more as watchful travelling companions than as pets or beasts of burden.
