Feyguard's Vengeance

When the tendrils of the Ancient Ones’ apocalypse had only just touched the old world, communities of feyfolk that were settled around remotely hidden pools of essence, found themselves in sudden need of martial might. Verrans so inclined answered the call, trading the strength of their arms and magics against this uncertain threat in exchange for access to resources. This left families and friends to never return, leading some to speculate on whether they perished or fell victim to fey enchantment.
