Shaded Duckling

This unsuspecting duckling was discovered alone in the midst of a forest downpour by a roving ranger. After a time, the ranger could not find the creature’s mother, and noticed that the duckling had taken a liking to following his new companion. Sensing this bond, the ranger gifted his new friend a simple flower hat, should it ever rain once more. Some passersby jest, asking if the feathered friend was a disciple to a renowned magi.
