Smashed Thumb Brigade

It began with a company of irascible dwarven miners, a misplaced hammer strike, and a disorderly brawl. It ended with reconciliations, revelry, and the reckless imbibing of pints at the local tavern. Thus, the Smashed Thumb Brigade was born. This group of fun-loving miners is bound by comradery and unwavering loyalty. They are a raucous fraternity, and occasional militia, that works together and watches each other’s backs. When necessary, they give their lives for each other. The Brigade loves nothing more than a hard day’s work, followed by a tavern celebration with ale, song, and lovely lasses. If they get interrupted by an unanticipated call to arms, the assurance that they will be well-equipped enough to split the skulls of hungry beasts or hostile brigands without hesitation!
