Talons of Frigid Fate

These gauntlets are sheathed in intricate engravings, and appear to be imbued with an unnatural ice. While the inside is warded from the cold, the exterior has slowly accumulated layer after layer of frost, the fingers now a series of impossibly sharp spear points. Efforts to chip away or melt the surface have failed, as the gauntlet only creates more rime, almost as if in defiant response.
