Twilight Courser

A favorite tradition of the Vaelune during winter evenings is gathering together in gregarious groups for games, food, song, and sky-watching - in particular, for shooting stars. If a brilliant streak is spotted, the company quickly mounts their steeds and gallops off in the direction of the star in exuberant jubilation. The legend that states “if one finds where the star fell their fortunes are changed forever” is quoted humorously to the young and romantic, but the elder Vaelune do it for the pure joy of the kindred ride.
